Friday night saw the grand opening of our “Beyond the Pale” exhibition at the Back o’ the shop gallery in Terrington. Beyond the pale features a large selection of minimalist monochrome images of Ryedale in winter and shows the start beauty of our area in these harsh conditions.
This was the first time we’ve opted for a preview evening for one of our exhibitions and we were delighted to find that the event was very well attended with everyone enjoying a glass of wine and generally enjoying the evening.

Thursday afternoon saw us setting up our first “themed” exhibition “Beyond the Pale” which features images of Ryedale in winter. We were quite nervous about putting up so many images on a similar theme, but we were delighted with the finished look of the exhibition and happy to open it to the public..................
You can now browse and purchase a selection of our mounted prints at the Sutton Bank centre shop and at the Ryedale Folk Museum shop. Also we have a small selection of framed and mounted prints at the Tourist Information office in Pickering.

A lovely venue for the exhibition, not in the usual room but at the other end in the 'Window on the Park' room. We are here until the 29th April and will be attending at weekends so why not pop in for a chat.
Off to a good start
2011 is off to a good start with several bookings already - here is what we have planned so far this year ..........
Exhibition at The Gallery, Guisborough starting Saturday 15th January 2011
We are delighted to have been asked to display a selection of our mounted and framed photographs in The Gallery, Guisborough, courtesy of Sue & Steve Griffiths. We will be exhibiting along with a number of other local photographers, so why not come along and visit this wonderful gallery.

We are booked in at the Tourist Information Centre in Whitby and will be showing local scenes of Whitby and the North East coast.
5th Annual 'Northern Light' Exhibition, Sutton Bank National Park Centre - 1st to 29th April 2011
Following the success of our 2010 exhibition, our 5th annual Northern Light Exhibition has been extended to a full month and will run from 1st to the 29th April 2011. We will be attending at weekends, so why not drop in for a look and a chat, or perhaps a cup of tea in the cafe.
Opening times 10am to 5pm daily. Admission free!
